What it means is that they can confiscate your property - any of it, including your vehicle - to satisfy your debt.
It's faultlessly legal.
You should own paid up.
If they've levy your accounts, CHANGE BANKS. They will do it again. DON'T give up any hill account or employment information unless ordered by a court.

Is it illegal to return alcohol to the store within California?
I tried to return two un-opened bottles of alcohol (vodka and rum) to the grocery store where I bought them, near the receipt, 5 days after I bought them and be told by the manager that "You can't return alcohol". When I asked why, he said "State Law". I enjoy googled this and can find no reference to a California State Law exclusion the return of alcohol to a store. Is it true?Answers: only if you barf at the sale associate in the store
I would conjecture it is not a law but a regulation.
Alcohol distribution is heavily regulated. Look into that at the appropriate Agency.
Your best source is to name ANOTHER store and ask the manager. Say it's for a bet. Ask if unopened bottles of liquire contained by 'saleable' condition can be returned. If he says NO, ask if it's a store policy or state regulation.
Get the information from those surrounded by the know.
nope
Can legal adoption contained by the U.S. happen between individuals other than a parent and child?
Example, if I am a single woman near no living relatives, and I have a friend who is resembling a sister to me, can I legally "adopt" her as my sibling so that she can conduct yourself in the role of next-of-kin for me when needed?Answers: What EXACTLY are you wanting her to do?
EDITED BASED ON RESPONSE:
Then I would recommend a MEDICAL POA for the event that you become in stipulation of critical care.
I would also strongly suggest a LIVING WILL which spells out exactly how you want your vivacity to end should it come to that.
Also, a standby guardianship petition (unusual but done for adults also) would admit her the power that a Medical POA does not to take fastidiousness of your 'estate' should you be incapacitated for any length of time.
I would definately advise discussing the concern with a local attorney formerly you do anything. The main issue is one of what to do IF and when you cannot create the decisions for yourself.
You don't hold to do an adoption. Plus many state law only allow adoption between adults if the adoptor is older than the adoptee or if the adults are at most minuscule 10 years apart in age.
What you are describing is what is call a DURABLE Power of Attorney. Go visit an attorney, it will cost you something like $500 for the attorney to do everything for you. It will be worth your piece of mind!
You also may want to consider having a Living Will done where on earth you can describe if you want the "plug" to be pulled on you if you are in a coma, etc...
No involve to adopt an adult. But do a will and power of attorney for strength care.

Age of consent in michigan??
if im 16 and i want to date an 18 year antiquated..could he get surrounded by trouble..even if we werent having sexAnswers: If you don't enjoy sex (and sex by law includes oral) consequently there won't be a problem. However the age of consent contained by MI is 16, but the person that you are next to must be between 16 and 18, if they are older than 18, the other personality must be 18 as well to engineer things legal. So if you be to have sex, and let say your parents found out and be not happy, they could whip him to court, and he'd be labeled a sex offender.
There are no law that govern who you can date. Sexual activitiy is the only issue. If that's not going on, consequently it doesn't matter as far as the statute is concerned. Your parents might have a different judgment though.

Frankly, I doubt jail time would be involved, especially if it be a first offense. She must, however, take aid of the outstanding charges. If she does not, it will be almost impossible to open another ridge account anywhere else.
Yes, since i.e. called fraud.
