My wife have worked in a Canadian call for centre for 9 months & have requested a change of hours because I enjoy a new available job & we have three young-looking kids to care for. They enjoy denied her request saying childcare is no longer something they consider within such requests. She now have no alternative but to leave - is this right/legal?Answers: lawful...yes, right...no. this is a terrible situation but i have an idea that she should just move because it cant be a very positive work environment if they conspicuously dont give a damn around their employees
I don't know how it works contained by Canada but in the US you can't expect your undertaking to change your hours simply because you have childcare issues. Supposedly those things are agreed upon hire. If at hand is multiple shifts than the normal process is to submit a request next to seniority being the prevailing factor contained by change.
Businesses own to meet convinced demands and they do so with a set number of hours. People don't collectively get to work when they want to or when it's most convenient.
I get let travel from a Job because my boss wanted me within before my daycare provider open. I was fired. I do not wan to work for someone close to that anyway. And I was and still am a single mom. We be barely making it. I BELIEVE WHAT YOUR BOSS DID IS WRONG AND IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL IF IT IS NOT.

Could judge Ito own overridden the Oj verdict?
Answers: The singular thing the conciliator could have done is sustained a defense motion for a finding of not guilty, but the authority cannot do the opposite. ONce it go to the jury and they acquit, that's it...like it or not. The law/consitution requires finality.
The referee could not declare a mistrial after an acquittal. Mistrial would hold had to go down prior the announcement of the verdict. Usually while during the taking of evidence or when the jury is dead-locked.
I don't muse this jury acquitted him because they be concerned for a riot.
I think the jury be hyper-vigilant to the "proven beyond a reasonable doubt" standard due to the star status of the accused and the bad name of the case.
I focus the prosecution did a poor job of putting on their luggage and left too abundant holes in their covering...leading to justifiable doubth. OJ had THE best DNA experts on his side (Scheck and Dr. Lee). DNA be new at the time for trials and the Government really botched their preservation of the evidence and their presentation of it at trial.
They also botched the glove issue. The defense taunt and goaded the GOV into having OJ try the gloves on because the defense believed they would not fit. The GOV terminated up looking like idiots when they did not appear to fit (after promising the jury they would clealry see how the gloves tied OJ to the slayings surrounded by their opening statements).
I Don't necessarily agree near the verdict, but it occur from time to time. OJ paid like mad of good money for the best defense you can buy. The elected representatives came at it next to good attorneys but be overmatched.
He should have declared a mistrial and sent it posterior to the DA for reprosecution.
OJ was so OBVIOUSLY guilty.
I doubt it. The trial be already fixed to go within O.J.'s favor. He had profoundly more going for him than just reputation and power.
If memory serves me correctly, I seem to bring to mind threats reported from persons surrounded by the black community that if O.J. were found guilty that in that would be another riot like the LA riot.
