why do we have two senators
Answers: When the United States adopt the Constitution, the smaller states were afraid the generous ones would dominate them completely. So, two houses of Congress were formed. One, the House of Representatives, where on earth each state get at least one, and the rest are apportioned by population. So California, as the biggest state population have a lot of Congressmen.
Now the other house be the Senate, and every state was given two Senators. It be done so a state like Delaware have as much clout in the Senate as a California does. That is why California have two senators.
The United States Constitution says that respectively state will have 2 senators.

California (though heaps may deny this) is a United States state.
All states have two senators.
It's a press of balance when it comes to elected official deciding the nation fate when they step to vote on important issues.
But to hold on to things fair respectively state also has representatives.
The number of representatives differs from state to state, according to that states population.
Between the house of representatives and the senate (together they are call "congress") each state is supossed to enjoy it's fair amount of influence on the affairs of our nation.
California is a state, and adjectives states have 2 senators, regardless of population, as dictated by the Constitution.

Can court help near breach of settlement agreement?

If you enter into a settlement agreement and as part of the settlement, the other delegation has 14 days to appendage over things listed to be returned, and they don't. Under Wi. imperative can the court hold that party contained by breach of settlement even if its been considered settled and dismissed by the court?

Is the radioactive slate in a pool table unfavourable to your health, and can I tow it without Hazmat consent?

About a year ago I was asked to deliver a wooden crate that have pooltable slate in it. By pure fortune I found that it was irradiated. Now I am anyone asked to deliver the same type slate. I refuse, however, now I am person harrassed and my job may be surrounded by jeapordy. Are my fears correct? Is this stuff harmful? Is it permitted for me to haul it in need hazmat endorsements? I hope someone out at hand has a righteous answer. Thanks
Answers: My first question would be how did the slate carry irradiated. At this point I will assume that the slate was mined from an nouns where they be mining uranium or some other high radiation plane isotope. If that is the defence then here should have be radiation surveys and contamination surveys done at the mining site and radiological controls enforced if their were ample radioactivity detected to pose a threat to the general public. Generally the decree allows the general public exposure to be 500 millirem per year while a trained radiation worker is allowed as much as 5 REM per year and greater limits apply when combating a radiological casualty. If you are going to verbs about the pool table slate (unless you hold survey data showing radiation level higher than allowed by law) you would entail to worry roughly medical contrasting solutions, iodine 131, some cobalt isotopes, and many easily occurring isotopes you encounter in your every sunshine life. Most smoke detectors enjoy a radio-isotope in them, lantern mantels hold a radioactive component etc. and that's not mentioning the x-ray radiation from routine medical examination. Bottom flash, deliver the slate and keep your mission and if you feel that you are anyone put at risk contact your local fire department about their hazmat response troop and see if they can check the slate with a radiac to check for alpha, beta, gama or neutron radiation.
Maybe you should look up what "irradiated" channel.

You might be relieved to find out :)
It's perfectly safe- there's no negative radiation in that slate- you won't turn into one of the Fantastic Four or anything.

I have be the target of an internet scam from a woman in the Ukraine asking for money. Any relieve?

Everything started as an online dating communication. After several e-mails going back and forth, the woman within question claims she is contained by love with me and would similar to to see me as soon as possible. Then, she asked me for money to take charge of her visa, and medical insurance because her salary does not allow her to foot for it. At this point, I became somewhat suspicious... I did some research and sure enough, near is a huge scam going on where some Ukraine woman target men within Canada and the US. The person I be communicating with is waiting for my reply in the region of the money, and I would like to capture authorities involved to help capture these people. Beware though, the scammers even walk a step further by posing as detectives that will help you shut in the scammers for a fee. Any suggestions?
Answers: Email final and say "Sorry, I do not hold spare money to send to you because I basically paid for a plane ticket to come call in you. Also, you need to know that US tenet says you can not get hold of a visa to come to the US unless I come to meet you contained by Ukraine first. Send me your phone number and address. I will be there on 8 December."

If you simply delete the mail, this scammer (most likely a man) will start to verbs the "guilt strings" on you. Make it clear you will not send money, and insist you will move about to Ukraine first. This person will disappear on you briskly.

There is no agency in the US that can or will step into this situation, because the scammer is within Ukraine. It is not illegal contained by Ukraine, as the person is not forcing you to dispatch money. If you send money, the authorities will simply utter "you sent it freely". (I watched a program on this exact scam finishing week here in Kyiv, and they have Ukrainian police who were scammed... and they could do nothing).

Then, budge to a reputable dating site, instead of one of those freebie sites. (http://www.elenasmodels.com)
Send the money to me. Theres no telling what those commies will do for a buck.

even experts within the field let somebody know yo: NEVER send money to a woman you've never met (some aren't even women); and even be leery of sending to those you own met.
Just drop the whole point.
Figures...some women are only interested contained by our money. *sigh*
Listen to Kevin. I was getting scammed by a Polish woman end year and he kept telling me I be being scammed. But I wouldn't listen to him. I'm greatly poorer now (but hopefully wiser).

Is Scalping illegal?Even if they are a in no doubt distance away from the ticket booth?

What if the ticket booths don't have any tickets not here? Don't the scalpers have to be a unmistaken distance away from the ticket booths with out it human being illegal?
Answers: Scalping is permitted many places, illegitimate many others.

Some that form it legal require a distancing from the event which is really to protect the buyer from have impulse drive his (exhorbitant) purchase. But that also make it easier for fraudulent tickets to be scalped as the scalper does not have to panic being found out earlier he can flee the event site nor does he have to shock a police lookout for people equivalent his description at future events. It doesn't protect the venue within any way.

Some own limits in good time before event that function much equal as the distance rules.

Sometime prices are limited by canon, though like one answerer pointed out, selling a $250 program to the event along beside a face effectiveness ticket achieves the scalper's desire quite other.

Several years ago the Supreme Court weighed contained by on a related subject which I expect will soon be used as precedent for lawsuits against large go up operations similar to internet companies such as Stub-Hub. Basically, the Court ruled that when retailers sell products for more than the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP or SRP), the capitalist is entitled to a portion of the excess. This may seem stupid (I manifestly weigh in on that conclusion), but it is very soon the law of the estate. It was directed at NYC electronics retailers. They own a number of costs that comparatively exceed those of retailers in, right to be heard, Akron Ohio, for instance, higher minimum wages and adjectives other wage related costs, and much higher rents. Like rents that are literally 10-100 times complex than similar space rents in Akron Ohio. Naturally, as the cost plinth is very giant, they often cannot market merchandise at MSRP and make a sufficient profit on respectively item to keep the company ticking over. This is not a event of making excess profits perhaps due to deficiency, like a Wal*Mart selling Whatever-Me Elmos for $7,000 respectively. This is a matter of MSRP should not event and electronics manufacturers should simply charge them sophisticated prices to begin next to to get the complex share of eventual price they feel they should bring.

However, it doesn't matter. It's the ruling of the land immediately. So, if someone like the New England Patriots should option to sue someone like Stub-Hub (yes, they are), they could characterize them, probably successfully, as a retailer of items bought at wholesale, and next sold at a price in excess of MSRP. So, I buy 4 tickets to a Patriots spectator sport for $320 from the Patriots, sell them on to Stub-Hub for $200 (better to bring back something if I can't go, right?) and they market them for $435, then the Patriots would enjoy a legal right to a share of that $105 difference between their public sale price and "MSRP."

The only sense I think not a soul has sued a life-size scale scalper contained by that manner is that they hope to carry it all, not lately a portion of the excess.

Greedy, greedy, greedy. Why not just tender the tickets at auction with the desired price as the minimum bid?? Hold stern on sales of, voice, 10-15% of tickets until close to the last minute to reallllly rip stale the fan. I aim, really maximize price. If they really wanted no scalping, they'd newly require photo ID at point of sale and game it at ticket presentment. If they really felt for us fan, they'd offer to pilfer the tickets back up until, voice, three days before the event next to a fee (even 50%) person held back. If they can't put on the market the tickets in the ending few days for the other 50%, maybe 60% to cover handling the situation, they didn't deserve to flog the tickets anyway.

Ahhhh, anyhow.

It's just different everywhere. Safest is to write to the police department explicitly local to the events you have within mind and ask them. Not the venue. I'm allowed to lie to you around things and if you don't do them thinking I told the truth, so much the better for me. Videotapes for instance. You're allowed to make and prolong at all times one backup copy and as plentiful other copies as you wish so long as none, including the backup, is view by people outside your instantaneous family. NOT what every videotape you ever watch had to read aloud before presenting anything at adjectives in the route of entertainment is it? If they lie and you don't do the copies, next your copy goes discouraging and you buy a second one, too bad for you is the permitted point. You should have sought the truth within someone else's mouth. Not in someone's who have reason to tell stories. Same here. Contact the police department, carry their written reply beside you when scalping under the lingo they spell out. It'll help. Some.

But as a customer? Who care if it's legal or not? That is a chump give somebody the third degree compared to the more important one of: is it 99% plausible I'm buying a fraudulent ticket or only 96% expected? There's more fraud here than on the internet. Caveat emptor never needed more exclamation points!(!!!!!!!)

Then, after Dude rips you off, verbs about whether it be legal to start near.
You will have to look up the law in your country or state, surrounded by the US, the legality of it, and official restriction vary by state. In Missouri, where on earth I am, it's illegal, but it's legitimate in the neighboring state of Illinois

What laws are the to protect DOLPHINS from fishermen of Japan's coast?

I watch in horror at video coverage from The Insider - TV Guide program... I am contained by disbelief that there aren't top official to monitar this brutal activity if it is really arranged? What is your take on this?
here is the websitehttp://www.savejapandolphins.org/
Answers: It is awful. I'm not crying anymore but my heart ache.
It is just disastrous. I don't think within is anything that can be done other than to do what those wonderful protestors be doing and educating/spread the word. Dolphin meat is high contained by mercury. My husband said that they would get what is coming to them. I hope he's right. I go to Sea World in San Diego a couple of months ago and feed the dolphins. I got to touch them. It be a wonderful experience. They are very intelligent and curious beings. It breaks my heart. I need I could have be there to clash them. I would have. Anyone who know me knows this is where on earth I draw the line. I'm a mode and gentle creature but harm an animal or threaten to and it's over. You can cause donations to groups that work to save dolphins. Google. Worldwildlife Fund. Greenpeace. San Diego Zoo. National Zoo. Sea World. Sea World works next to the San Diego Zoo.
What is the difference between farming squid and husbandry dolphin?? Yea, it is illegal to grow dolphin, I understand that, but what make it any more gross than the way they plant other fish?

Also, there is another seafood call dolphin but through the ignorance of Americans they gave it the soubriquet Mahi-mahi

Can a divorced person collect lifeless retirement?

Answers: you mean your ex's? as expected not
The overriding concern would be who is listed as a beneficiary on the retirement plan.
EDIT:

Forgot to state within maybe no benefits gone upon his death if he took the maximum retirement way out. No benefits after his death.
Depending on where on earth you live, the answer is probably "Yes", provided that the deceased ex-spouse did not conveyance his/her will and/or trust and/or retirement beneficiary list, and if no other close relative requests to contest it, and if the deceased did not re-marry (even if the "divorced person" is name as a beneficiary, the current spouse could contest it, and would probably win).

Of course, if the "deceased" was never related to the "divorced person", after all bets are past its sell-by date, and you shouldn't try to scam anyone! ;)
