What power/powers do the legislative branch have to check the other two branches??

Answers: You hold Legislative(congress), Jucidial(courts), executive branch(president). Laws cannot be passed with out the approval of both congress and the president. Judicial cannot enforce law unless they have be created by congress and the president.

Congress checks on the President: Congress declares period of war, controls tax and spending, ratify treaties, vote to approve cabinet members, courts, and any other appointed positions, congress can also override a presidential veto.

Congress check on the Supreme Court: push for Constitutional amendments, approve or disapprove their appointments, control how much they get compensated.

Landlord and racism?

What can you do when dealing with a racist manager .I live in a poor apartment complex and the hotelier hates Caucasian empire .I have talk to several people that are cause and they get bothered by her all the time I hold personally see her let other ethnic background get away near smoking pot on the steps or have loud party but if a Caucasian has more consequently one person over to look in for dinner she gets distasteful with them what can be done give or take a few this .

Answers: if your renting a room or flat from this dick head.she have no right to tell you anything she also have no right to come into your place without your blessing and she has no right what soever to bring up to date you who you can have to dinner.as long as you earnings your rent tell her to piss of.another entity you can report her to the police for being racist its against goverment policy she can return with a heavy fine and could own to pay you compensation for adjectives the stress she has cause you please dont put up with it as if you do she will save on doing it and getting away with it.what you should do is cartridge the things she says to you and next you will have an even better covering against her.im white and scottish and i wouldnt treat anyone like that.oh inform her to piss off from me

IF you are claiming she won't permit you smoke pot because you are white, you have nil.

IF she rented to you although you are white but still 'doesn't like you' , you enjoy nothing.

The hotelier doesn't have to similar to you because you are a member of her own see. The law simply states she cannot discriminate against you within RENTING because of your race.

There is no law which suggests the proprietor has to 'like'you or apply her rules evenly. Only rent to you and the height of rent.

So my friend stole an ipod and i bought it i dicked around with the cops close to an idiot saying i didnt enjoy it but i finally gave up and told the truth and i be suspended from high university for 5 days and also got 8 hours community service from my probation officer okay i got a epistle in the e-mail yesterday saying i own to appear in court for a charge of mugging by recieving the cop said he couldnt give me a ticket and that he is still going to profile a report and send it to the DA's department where appenrently he settled to take it to court so my cross-examine is what is the judge going to do???

Answers: I seriously doubt you'll gain any time for it. It's a first offense. Did you buy it knowing it was stolen? If you did and told the cop that, later that'll make it a bit worse.

He's going to ask if you knew it be stolen. You say no, unless you've already stated otherwise...surrounded by any case however you should express that you're sorry even if your not and hail as an attorney for sure.

I doubt you'll be put away unless you have a prior history or some other such incidents.

their torment is punishment enough, but yes they should dance to prison, but what about the children, foster carefulness? If it was an innocent mistake, I don`t know they should be put in prison after they enjoy raised their children. But consequently are they capable of looking after children. if they have been poor working class parents social services would enjoy taken their children off them straight away!

Answers: CALL your local police or sheriff's organization. Local law enforcement doesn't enjoy the resources to go out looking for every personality who has an outstanding warrant for their arrest. Unless its for something super serious, they newly wait until you seize pulled over for a traffic violation and pinch you in when they run your driver's license. Besides, they realize that 50%+ of the time, the human being doesn't even realize they have a warrant out for them (you, for example) and once they're alerted, individuals usually just turn themselves surrounded by if the offense is minor.

When you call, they'll ask you for your heading, date of birth, and possibly a few other means of insuring that you own a right to the information.

If you personally appear at the police station qne hold a warrant for your arrest, you will be taken into custody on the spot. You'll be processed and detained until bail is set (assuming that it's not a no-bail warrant for your arrest.)

You CAN go down to the police station and ask logically.

They will proceed to "clap you in irons and throw you contained by the brig" however --- that's if you do have a warrant for your arrest.

In wisconsin how does getting your motorcyclre licsense work and can you rent a bike?

Answers: In order to draw from a motorcycle license, you need to first own your regular drivers license. You then exceed a written test, and are given a motorcycle instruction charter. While under the instruction grant, you can not ride at night or own a passenger, unless the passenger is over 25 yrs old and have a motorcycle license for at least two years.

You later take a road trial with the motorcycle. If you go past, you are then issued a motorcycle support on your regular license.

As far as renting a bike, you need to check next to a dealer. The state does not provide bikes for you to audition with.

If his autograph suggests who he works for, he is a Wisconsin State Trooper in district 3 (well certainly an inspector but he is GOD in traffic matter (and thats coming from a county deputy)). I would also suggest the MSF rider safety course. In WI after you appropriate the class you will not have to do the road theory test to obtain your motorcycle sponsorship. I have taken the course and is reasonably helpful as I have no motorcycle experience.

How are women in jail/custody mistreated? Statistical evidence needed...?

I own a project for my human rights course where I own to find statistical information about how women across the world are mistreated when within jail/custody, for example 78% of women in incarcerate are molested (not necessarily true).
