Sexual Harassment?

Theres this man in one of my classes at conservatory. I have made it clear that I am lone in my second year of college, right our of big school, so he know that I'm around 19 or 20. He's at least 10 years elder, maybe more. He's constantly touching me, my arms, my fuzz, and giving me hugs that I just don't return. I've told him to stop but he basically responds with "But I similar to you..." I know I need to be rather more assertive and tell him to cut it out surrounded by a more forceful way, but I don't want to be scrounging. He's a nice person and I don't mind discussion to him, but the physical contact makes me extraordinarily uncomfortable and it's gotten to the point where on earth I try to avoid him if I see him on campus. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to be nice around getting him to stop touching me and that I'm not interested at all? My mom also think that if it gets worse that I should consider file a sexual harassment claim. Would this in fact be considered sexual harassment? Thanks so much within advance!

Anyway, you can't really avoid him since he is in class next to you and there is no requirement for you to have to adjust your energy to get around him.

Don't start any conversations next to him. If he approaches you again, even to talk, in recent times interrupt him and say "I am sorry, but I hold told you that you make me remarkably uncomfortable. Since you don't respect that, please don't speak to me or approach me again." If he persist, immediately stir to the nearest authority figure--your professor, the dean--and make a complaint.

He's not a nice individual, he is a creep.
In my opinion, you should bequeath it ONE more chance, explain to him assertively, "I am not interested in you, and you touching me make me VERY uncomfortable. Please, stop, this is the concluding time I am going to ask you."

If he does it again, go to your Dean, professor etc. By next it should be considered Assault, and maybe Sexual Harassment.

The cop told him to get out and depart his van and made him walk to work, next added that if he tries to drive again he will nab him again! If he pays the fine he admits guilt and his license will be invalid. In oodles states driving without a valid license channel automatic suspension. Answers: It is tough. The truest test of our respect for free speech is to see if we still honor it when we despise the words man spoken. This certainly seem to apply here. It's hard to know where on earth to draw the line. I'm troubled to find myself inclined to support the general public from the church, as much as I disagree with them. I hold too often be in the position of relations violently disagreeing beside my positions (even on YA), and it seems too small a step from censor them to censoring you and me.

It's a terribly interesting debate, and one that I think will ultimately result within the verdict for $11 million individual overturned. In this case, obviously, it was a civil valise, where the burden of proof is in the order of half of what it is surrounded by criminal cases, and it was not the state bringing the charges against the church, kinda disappearing a question put pen to paper over the "congress shall make no ruling abridging" part of the First Amendment.

Freedom of speak ends or should closing when it hurts another person or group. That is in recent times my opinion. We adjectives know it is illegal to bellow fire in a theater. This would incentive panic that could wrap up up killing some relatives by being trampled to annihilation. Hate speech is another form of illegal speech. I was convicted of a crime, how do I run about getting a copy of the states evidence against me?

I have a copy but have lost it. Where do I turn to get a copy of my felony court casing? It explained the whole situation of the crime. I don't requirement it for any further legal goings-on, just to enjoy for personal reasons.

Answers: Return to the court that convicted you and ask for the accounts department.

Your case be a public forum and a public record be created. Therefore, there should be a story held by the clerk of courts. The court reporter only reports...she/he does not archive.

Someone at a counter or desk will probably enjoy you fill out paperwork and you will enjoy to provide sufficient information (name of defendant, date of trial, etc) so they can find the record.

The will form a copy for you, but it is not likely to be cheap. Some courts I own gone to charge 25 cents/page to be copied.

Some courthouses have "reading rooms" so taht you can review court documentation, but some don't. They don't let you stray far near the records because it is the just public record of the court exploit.

I don't know what happens to the copy after any amount of time, but it will likely be harded to find within a couple years because they will probably archive it deeper like surrounded by a warehouse at some point.

The easier and cheaper route may be to see if your attorney still has a copy of the transcript, but they typcially only hold it for a clear in your mind amount of time after completing the action.

I'm not one to pull the see card for many things but how else would you describe the comment .."resourcefully you know her kind".. two weeks ago she went surrounded by my hiring file to determine if I have a degree (which I do) and discovered that nearby was a charge that be dropped in 2001. She shared that info in the region of me to other employees. Is that against the canon? Mind you, I worked with autistic children. It be a Domestic Violence charge but I was the one violated. It be dropped once this was established,however it's still on my account (as dropped). I could not work there short proof of this. I was told by my instantaneous supervisor to be careful of her because she said that she didnt resembling me "for some reason". all within all I be still respectful but I'm not phoney! In the end we have some intense fellowship, to say the lowest, that resulting in my getting fired. Getting fired I can toy with, her comment of ..look at your ghetto nails..this is long overdue" caked it for me. Is here anything I can do?
Answers: Well maybe, but glossing over the "intense fellowship" chunk makes me wonder if you didn't mitt her a good excuse for firing near you with your fabulously manicured nails.

Like it or not, capitalism is the bucket from which we adjectives feed and provides us near the life style we own. Farrakhan, King, and others have set a model for the nation near million man marches, etc., that I would love to see emulate with a million man demonstration on Washington wherein each of the million carried a rifle as a clear message to our parliament that we do, indeed, govern. Our elected leaders of both parties see no problem here. I surmise the "people" do.
