I work at a business that's open 24 hours a time seven days a week. One of our employees go on a job interview and be told by the person interviewing him, that it be illegal for our company to hold him work all 3 shifts. ( He have Sundays and Mondays off) Tuesdays and Wednesdays he works mornings 7a.m.-3:30 p.m., Thursday he works swing (3p.m. -11:30 p.m.) and Fridays and Saturdays he works 11p.m.-7:30 a.m. The thing is he works different days but adjectives three shifts while some of us work the same shift and hours everyday for example. I work Graveyard 11p.m.-8:30 a.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Is this really off the record? The other illegal diversion is paycut at work. The owner came contained by and someone overheard him tell the General planner that he was thinking around looking at every employee net and he would like to make smaller it across the board by 10% as well as cut our hours from 40hrs a week down to 32hrs. And nope... its completely allowed for them to cut your pay. so long as they're still paying you at most minuscule minimium wage they have every right to. Sucks, huh? No, it is not unconstitutional. When I worked as a dispatcher for several ambulance companies, the person who covered everyones days sour worked the "Swing Shift" as in swing from one shift to another. It go on all the time, and as long as the personage has satisfactory time off between shifts to grasp plenty of sleep, there isn't a problem.

As for a wages cut, I am not 100% positive on that. You could contact Wage and Hour to ask if that is trial.
