Are we being screwed over by the attorney handling my Mother's Probate?

My Mother died short a will 3 years ago. The estate is still in Probate. It seem like the with the sole purpose time the attorney works on it, is when I call him to see how things are going.
The attorney have done somethings that I feel are wrong/wasteful. Any Family Attorney's out nearby willing to review my complaints-to insist on whether the Attorney is screwing us over-what I can do from here?

The benefits of NOT training them how to drive a car and NOT giving them a state issued driver's license is that they will probably run head-on into trees and other solid objects, thereby doing themselves contained by and forestalling their evil plans to take over the planet.
