Answers: Two issues here- ownership and legality. Your father can endow with you personal property, but you can't register a handgun in California unless you're 21. So you're surrounded by a temporal limbo. You're not old ample to own it. However, if someone broke into your house and tried to murder you or any beneficiary of your family later you could shoot him and if he died you would be exonerated.

I think the teaching systems are completely messed up. You can't get a flawless paying job unless you turn to college, and you cant get into a right college without making devout grades in big school. Most high-ranking school students are completely oblivious to supporting themselves and making a living, they have no model how hard it is, all the same they're expected to do well within high university or their live is going to be a complete nightmare. All this responsiblity lays in the student's hand, someone who isn't even responsible enough to consume alcohol! Why is that much responsibility put on a child?

As soon as high institution is over people enter the material world - working, getting married, having kids, continuing their lessons, etc. The natural course of existence consists of actions and consequences. I don't know that it is right to think that general public aged 13-18 should not have responsibility placed on them. All empire have responsibilities, i.e. what life presents us. Just a bit more than a century ago, it be people of those ages who be getting married, having children, working, raise families, going to period of war, etc. In some countries, people at those ages still contract with those issues. So it become apparent that it is not a situation of age being a boundary marker to responsibility, as throughout human history people surrounded by their teen years have indeed shown a great capacity to be responsible and mature.

The continuing nouns of responsibility in teenagers is a societal effect, and one which can be bettered by increased discipline and training. The solution is not to remove responsibility from teens - that is newly an excuse, and in essence, an injustice to them - but a bit to show them how to be more responsible.

Teenagers have the opportunity to do vastly well. Everything is offered for the taking. They can be successful surrounded by school, they can team up countless organizations, they can volunteer, they can work. And they can largely do it all next to much support and the safety of knowing that should they craft mistakes, people are within to catch them and return with them back on the right track - line, teachers, churches, youth organization, etc, are all at the disposal of teenagers.

Many elevated school students are unaware. Removing responsibility from them is only going to produce that situation worse. They need to be prepared for the adjectives, not shielded from it.

Although, there are CEO of companies and multi-millionaire's who become rich without a lofty school diploma or college childhood - it is VERY rare. Most general public who earn a decent earnings has received some horizontal of education. It is messed up that not everyone is given a "fair" luck. There are certain underlying problems surrounded by society and the education system as a huge "responsibility" on teenagers to do all right. However, if YOU wanted to be successful, later YOU would work hard. Education is celebrated.
