Apartment rental?
If someone has been turned down by the apartment manager to be a tenant at the complex, can she prohibit me from having this person over as a guest, if I am not violation of the lease cause concerning guest. If person is quiet and does not do any illegal while a guest in my home. Supposively the reason person was turned down was there was a misdemeanor that is over 5 years old and poor credit rating. Is it not a violaton of personal freedom to be told who you can and cannot associate with.
Answers:
absolutely not. You can have anyone over that you like as long as you and the other person follow the rules and regulations. When an apt. manager turns down someone, it is usually only because we have a set of guidlines that we have to follow including credit ratings and past history, it honestly has nothing to do with whether or not we like someone. Your friend should be absolutely fine to visit with you.
If the person is a guest they should be fine as long as the invitee is allowing them over in the apartment. The denial of the rental was a credit issue.
You can have any guests you want.
