Is it legal to sunbathe topless in your own back garden?

The weather is gorgeous & sunny & I've been sunbathing in my back garden today. But I want to take my bikini top off and sunbathe topless, cos I want an all over tan on my boobs. Obviously I don't want to offend any neighbours, I'm overlooked by one house, if they look out of their bedroom, but I could probably hide down the side where they couldn't see me. Is this legal??

Answers:
Yes, I'm sure it's legal. You might want to be discreet so you don't wind up the wifey next door, or be ogled by teenage boys!!

yes its legal.good loooook! lol
not that i know off but be carefull
Yes it is legal to sunbathe topless in my backyard.

Why don't you come over?
Yes its legal... Go get a tan... Me I am gonna go now and get mine
Go ahead.
Yes.
It depends upon the jurisdiction, but generally speaking, if there is not any public access view to your yard, you can sunbathe nude.

BTW, if you were my neighbor, I would not be offended!
you wont offend me at all
Whats your neighbour's address?
dont wait for the law put ur self in their position and then decide what to do, if u will be offended then they will be
Im not sure...... could u post a picture then I might have a better idea ??
Yes it is legal on your own private property, so long as you are not trying to give the neighbors a thrill/chill. Public nudity is illegal, unless one is at a legally designated nude beach. If you share the yard space with others, (live in an apartment building), do not try it.
If your fense is a hurricane sense or if you are but ugly, the answer is yes. If not either, I assume you can do whatever you like in the privacy of your won home.
yes you are allowed to do it, go out and get a golden tan, I'm sure the neighbours won't mind, enjoy, keep safe all the best
.Are there young children living next door? Mainly young boys?

If there are you could have issues with their parents. If not and you hidden from public view there should be no problem.

To be safe you could check with a female police officer in your town to be sure you wouldn't be in violation of anything.
Just stay out of anyone's view.
Go for it but don't forget the sun tan lotion!!!!!
If anyone could see you then you could be done for indecent exposure, I think. Of course, you'd have to be visible from a reasonable vantage point for that to apply, I'd say. Mind you, what if you started sunbathing, nodded off and then your neighbour's roofing contractor turned up to start work?

I think, unless you have a very high fence and can't be seen from anywhere else then it would be safe to cover up. Or go find a nudist beach.
Perfectly legal
Its perfectly legal.

Whip them clothes off and get an all over tan ... much better than white bits.
I would ask a local police officer in this matter just to make sure.

I think that if your garden is well enclosed and is not quite easy to see into, then I don't think there should be a problem.

But the last thing you want is to be done for indecent exposure, so get it checked out.
topless' gee mar i aint never seen nobody sunbathe without
their head on before
Yes it is totally legal (its your own private property), if your backyard is not in way of public access then its okay. Have fun! lol
I walk about all day with me top off, nobody seems to mind.
It should be illegal, irrespective of what the law actually says.

It's your own property after all.
Dont know what the law on that one is but ive been sun bathing with my T**S out today, and they are lovely and brown now.

Personally mate its your garden, so do what you want. get out there and get a nice tan.
Well technically you can, as long as you don't offend the sensibilities of the neighbours. It is your place, but that does not mean you can do what you like. I think if they pushed it, you could be charged with indecent exposure. I mean if a man for instance wanted to sit in his garden and was overlooked by the neighbours and he was totally exposed, I'm pretty sure the police would have something to say. I know this sounds ridiculous but what if that man was sitting there playing with his bits at the same time...you see...You should ask your neighbours if this is offensive to them, maybe you might be quite surprised they may not mind at all, and you will have all the old men from the town peeping over your hedge having heart attacks. Good luck
