Texas License Expired?

will a new job, hire you with an expired license? I have a few interviews comming up my license expired on my b-day May, 2. I cant renew until i pay a $218 ticket which I cant afford to pay until the beginning of September.

Answers:
Just tell them that you will renew your license after you pay the fine, but that you can't pay the fine until you get a job! Your neediness just may get you hired and working much faster than not. Plus, your openness and honesty up front will give you extra creditsin the eyes of the interviewer. So long as the job you are applying for does not REQUIRE a valid license, you shouldn't have any problems. Make sure they know that you will need time off to go get your new license, when it's time. Also remember, here in TEXAS, if your license is expired for too long, you will have to take all of the tests over again! Good Luck. KEEP IT GRUVY!

Do you need your license to perform the duties of the job? You would be a fool not to disclose the info if that is the case.
