How can we protect children from predation by religious recruiters?
Does their right to religion allow them to exploit minors?
Answer:
You can't keep your children from coming into contact with religion, but you can raise them to choose for themselves how they want to live their life, to logically inspect the things that they encounter.
I think a lot about how I want to raise my children, if I ever choose to have any. I want them to feel like they can take their own path, but at the same time I want to know that they're using their brains when they choose. Personally, I don't belong to any religion, but if I have a son or daughter who is interested in religion, I will allow them to explore that interest. Once I feel that they are old enough to make important choices, I will let them join a religion if they so choose. It's important to educate your children about religion. If you have problems with certain religions, you should discuss them with your kids. If there are things you like about certain religions, discuss that too. I hope that by the time my children are mature enough to make their own decisions, that if they want to join a religion it will be one that is not discriminatory or hateful. Supply your children with information. Learn about religions with them. Knowledge is power, and if you want to protect your children, giving them that knowledge is the best that you can do.
Parents have to teach their children to think critically so they can see through the bullshit and brainwashing.
I assume you think "exploitation" is anything that doesn't coincide with your belief system.

How can I protect my children from secular humanism? They are taught it in the public schools, deluged with it on T.V., its shoved down their throats in the movies and much of modern literature, its in most magazines and newspapers, and each year the ACLU attempts to censor anything that suggests a different opinion or viewpoint from the public eye in their so-called defense of freedom of speech.
Do what we did, teach your children critical thinking skills, and then as they mature have them look at all sides of an issue and figure it out for themselves rather than just telling them what to think. It will be much more solidified in their hearts and minds if they come to the truth of their own accord.
