My fiance got injured at work and we are still waiting on the company to finish the papers for workmans comp?

should we get a attorney? something dont sound right. he got hurt in june and we are waiting. and when he askes all they say is i dont know.

Contact the insurance company to see if the claim has been filed [I bet it hasn't]. Yes, you might have to get an attorney to get the employer off the dime.

I'd also contact the state department of labor or insurance and banking department.
