What did you do when you were a victim?

Answers:
Make sure you also contact the three credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion & Equifax). They can put a note on your file that will prevent the opening of any new credit accounts without them contacting you first.

What have they stolen? Get any lost credit cards blocked, alert any affected banks or places that you may use your info on so they can be aware of any suspicious transactions. Most imporantly, tell the police everything.
