Felony question?
in ny state does anyone know the amount of jail time one would be sentenced to if they received 2 counts of a class a felony in the second degree?
The person is not a minor and has been in the county jail two times before. Was caught selling drugs (special k and ecstasy) and also received on top of the 2 felonies a class A misdeameanor for marijuana
this person is my brother, i am nothing like him, do not do drugs or even drink, have no relationship with him but he is being arraigned tomorrow and then i have no idea what will happen after that but i want him in jail and i hope they keep him in there even when hes awaiting trial
my parents have done so much to try and help him but he always chooses the wrong path. they are both a mess right ow and i wanna try and prepare them for the jail time he may face. if i were to guess, hes screwed.

You can't prepare someone for their child being sentenced to prison.
I have two brothers who've both served time (DUIs, brawls, stupid macho stuff - no drugs). While they've chosen the wrong path (on more than one occasion) I NEVER wanted them there - not once, not ever - and it broke my heart every time. My parents, too. There is no preparation.
