Why not video tape on duty cops or follow them via the new satellite spy programs -?

Here is an article about the new domestic spy program to be used by the US on US citezen's
Why not follow all cops on duty and record their activity CIA included - It would be "filtered" by US government officals and it would ensure that no cop or agent ever over stepped his or her athority agian
If they have nothing to hide they won't mind
The only cop/agent that would object is a bad cop/agent and who cares what they think -

because you would catch them doing to many unlawful things
Great idea! Public servants are employees of the public, and need to be held accountable to the public. It is about time that they remember who they are working for! *sm*
Seriously, there are more important things to do. Do you realize the number of arrests or encounters that do not end up being 'key footage' etc? What people that are worried about the cops behaviour should be doing is teaching people how to avoid run ins with the cops.
1. everyone needs their privacy.
2. pretty sure that satellite stuff can't see anyone in a building, so if they could do as they please inside.
3. there are to many cops to do this with, theirs probably millions of cops out there it would be hard to get millions of uncorupt people to watch them.
4. and that would be considered prejudiced to follow only police, security, etc. why not follow bakers they could do something, or the little old lady down the street(no offense to either of those people im just using it as and example not to direct at anyone).
5. chances are the people who are watching the law enforcers, would be law enforcers.
Well, to begin with, we don't actually have the capacity to monitor individual police officers 24/7. I think that a better idea is to go to the CCTV idea that they have in the UK. I think that you would find that the police and intelligence agencies are not the primary cause of problems.
Most police have "dash cams" in this age, and are monitored by their agencies.
You sound a bit "anti" police, and I suspect that you are involved in illlegal acts.
Yeah sure. And while your at it, go and spy on those who hold a concealed weapon license. Then concentrate on the red light runners, shoplifters, trash litterers. There is already enough government interference. By the way, who do you recommend to be trustworthy enough to uphold the spy program if you can't trust your neighborhood cop?
Most patrol cars already have video cameras. Following cops with satellites is unfeasible, and that resource could be better used elsewhere.
What a waste of tax money! These are there for the crooks not the cops. I have found those who hate the police do so because they break the law. What's your excuse?
How can making sure police, schoolteachers, DMV employees or any other government worker does their job be a waste of tax money. Paying people who don't do their job is where the waste is. Using privacy as an excuse to goof off when you're being paid to do a job is not acceptable.
good call, but who will monitor the monitors? The public should be able to spy on the CIA if they can spy on us.
