Does anyone miss our Constituitonal rights; that seem to have been removed by new legislation?
We are told that we must give up our rights due to our scarey and terrorist world. Do you miss any particular right, and if so which one? Did you know that ANY LAW passed that is in contradiction to our Consitution is unlawful, and illegal? What NOW?
Answers:
People usually confuse "wants and conveniences" with "rights"
call and write your senators and congressmen, tell your friends and co-workers what you learn, vote... encourage others to do the same
No, and I certainly don't miss whiners who exhibit little understanding of human nature and the world in which we live.
I hadn't noticed my rights disappering. But then, I'm not an anti american paranoid fruit cake.
i haven't missed any of my rights because i haven't lost any and unless you are a terrorist planning on harming America then you haven't lost any either.
i miss all of them. in this day in age there is nothing that u can do to stop the politicians. it takes money and power. that is something that none of us have unless u r one of them. and if u fight them, u go to jail. so much for the constitution, it is gonna turn into another holocost.
We have not lost any Constitutonal rights. Just know your amendment rights, learn how to live with it, tell others about it and our rights are still there, but they have been getting tighter.
I think if we must give up our rights to protect us from terrorist then we need a new government than can do the job. We should NEVER give up our rights to crazy people. PLUS people using the word terrorist is using it against anyone who doesn't agree with them. If we aren't careful a new burning times era could start.
I love how people talk about their rights. What rights have we given up?
I do read up this very subject quite a bit and I know that the government works quite closely with the aclu on this when passing laws. They did this to spearhead any appeals-which I though was pretty wise on the part of the govt. Also, have you even read the constitution? Does it even say we have a constitutional right to a speedy airline boarding? Does it dsay we have the right to privacy in a public place? No it doesn't. I mean, come on, know what your talking about before you start preaching.
