Is there anybody else out there like me that thinks that America is screwed up?
That we have almost no morals,that w're invading an innocant and trying to screw it p just like we are, I am a female and I truely believe that womens lib helped screw up America worse than anything and I think that this technoogy has not helped at all, I just wish things were simple.Cars haven't even been around that long and we've already got a hol in the ozone

I think part of the problem (and what is dividing this country) is the religious right shoving their morals down my (and everyone elses) throats.
If more people were concerned with controlling their own lives instead of everyone elses...we would be a lot better off.

America is very screwed up. Thanks to the sorry useless, crooked polictians. All of the good polictians are dead. All that is left is a bunch of selfish, inconsiderate, good for nothings, who sit up in the White House, The House and Senate doing everything they can to make my life and yours as misery as hell. No one cares about anyone anymore. Polictians are all about money.
You need to dig much deeper. America as a country is a beautiful place to live, the problem is the power behind the politicians and government (banking, corporations) has morphed a capitalist country into a fascist regime (the Bush administration.
Hey I am not for the Dems or the Reps, this eroding of our fundamental freedoms (The Constitution & The Bill of Rights) has been taking place for more than one hundred years, it is being accelerated at an alarming pace right now. Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Payne and many more would be outraged to see what the United States of America has become. I call it the "Untied States of America"
There was a time when a widow with children wasn't allowed to own property or hold a decent paying job, so many just had to give up their children or marry someone out of necessity. Women in my lifetime were considered chattel owned by their husbands. Few would intervene if a woman was being beaten by her husband because it was considered his right. Give me a break. Maybe you just don't understand the reasons for the women's movement.
I have morals and I believe most people do. These people just don't get in the news. It's not only cars that caused the hole in the ozone layer. Many years of burning coal and the pollutants emitted by factories have added to that. The oil companies and those who reap rewards from it have made it very difficult to impossible to use other forms of energy. That needs to change immediately.
