On 1st offence, Should pedophiles be incarcerated for life or put to death? With No parole?

criminals and rehab take up valuable tax-payers money.

even so, money may be wasted on them if they are on a life sentence,with OR without parole.
so, for both financial and obvious social reasons, they should not be kept around

It's impossible to generalize all pedophiles in this way. A 20 year old woman who has sex with a 15 year old boy is considered a pedophile in many states too. Are you going to put her to death?

You know...you really have to think about that one. Incarceration for life or the death sentence brings up a ton of legal, ethical, financial, and moral issues. It's very expensive to incarcerate someone for life, and I'm personally against the death penalty (as many are).
Why are people pedophiles? I doubt that they wake up one morning and say "I think I'm going to start banging kids today". I'm thinking that there is something psychologically wrong with most, if not all, of them. Psychological problems can be treated, if the individual wants to change. I wouldn't let them work in a daycare or be in contact with children, but there's no reason they can't be out in society again, with supervision, check-ins, and continued therapy. The ones that don't want to change should never be put in the position where they could have contact with a child ever again. I don't know if that means life-time incarceration, or if there is another alternative, but they shouldn't be allowed to reoffend.
how is one put to death with no parole?? If it's their FIRST offense, it better damn well be there LAST----you harm a head on a child---ANY CHILD in a sexual manner and I'm sorry, the very first time you should be in there for LIFE!!! I'd rather support their butts in PRISON then have them wandering around in MY neighborhood possibly attacking a neighbor's little boy or girl. I have no compassion for people who do that kind of sick thing to INNOCENT CHILDREN... if they can't be incarcerated for LIFE, then we should give them the LORENA BOBBIT treatment --FULLY though.
There's no "cure" for ANY of us... Would YOU execute a person for "inappropriately touching" a child- but let a murderer of ANY kind- live? When we start killing people LEFT & RIGHT for stuff WE don't want to deal with- then maybe the REALLY "sick ones"- are US. :(
Depends on the circumstances. I think castration or deportation should be considered. No one should ever be killed and it takes to much resources to keep then in prison for life.
