Do you think businesses and corporations have the right to privacy?

Does the government have the right to force corporations to disclose classified customer information or trade secrets in legal proceedings? thanks!

Answers:
A business or corporation is not an individual, and does not have constitutional rights.
Trade secrets and customer information are property issues, and if examined under subpoena, can be protected by confidentiality requirements placed on the court.

We are the government, and yes, we have an obligation to mandate that business practices be public information. If there is reliable evidence that illegal activity is happening by the corp. then that evidence should be presented, and an acceptable defense used to defend it.
