Why do people believe what they are told by the government about drugs?
i mean the government said that if you smoke marijuana you'll go crazy and kill your family, but they only used one example and that kid was skitzofrinic and had several other problems before smoking pot. it just pisses me off when the government lies about marijuana but it pisses me off more when people acctually believe them and then lecture people that smoke. also i think it was the representative from ohio who said that there was no such thing as medical marijuana even though it's been proven to help people with pain from AID's and cancer.

Obviously you are not intersted in the facts of the matter as you have stated that it "pisses you off" when the government "lies" or "is believed" when research related to marijuana is released. Just what qualifies you as an expert on the subject? Are you a biologist, biochemist, MD? The fact that you dont like people arguing against something you like to do does not make you right and them wrong. It just means that you choose to ignore the facts and continue with a behavior that may have significant long term consequences. There are numerous studies on the negative effects of marijuana with prolonged use, not just one. The tests are conducted as double blind studies, that means that the government does not control the results of the tests, so its not a conspiracy. Schitzophrenia is just one possible side effect of many and while it doesnt happen to everybody, it is certainly a possibility. Your assertion that medical marijuana is important is also faulty. All of the active ingredients of marijuanna have been extracted and synthesized and made available in tablet form by prescription. It is more effective, potent, and controlled an administative technique than smoking it. The fact is that medical marijuanna is just an excuse potheads use to increase its availability. I guarantee that you do not suffer from any malady that you claim it helps with. So what is your excuse for using it? Wise up, getting on a board and trying to justify your comitting a criminal act with hearsay, opinion, and worn out diatribe just doesnt work. Nobody feels your pain, just endures your ignorance.
