Can Micheal Vick cut a deal?
Why does he have to face this alone? His buddies cut a deal, why can't he? I am not defending his actions. Just wondering why he is going to get punished so much harder? Just because he's famous? seems a little messed up.

Who is he going to give up? His buddies cut a deal because they had something to offer the state. What does he have? Nothing, because his buddies already rolled on him. He's a punk and abuser of animals. Why should he be punished less than the law requirements? Just because he's famous? seems a little messed up.
In order to cut a deal you need leverage. If the prosecution is ifey about their case they will cut a deal but if their case is solid then they want to burn you.
Plus his friends probaly ratted on him.
It's just how it works.
Federal Court isn't like State Court when it comes to deals. His buddies are essentially pleading guilty to the top count on the indictment and throwing themselves on the mercy of the court. By doing so they'll receive favorable treatment under the Federal guidelines. Still, they're going to prison.
