What can i do legally to remove my name from a car lease? ex-boyfriend has car.?

Nothing. It's like co-signing on a car loan. You'd better make sure he keeps up the payments. Of course if the car's in your name & you kept a key & he don't pay you can take the car.

He probably has to refinance it to get your name off it...good reason not to buy cars with boyfriends...they become ex-boyfriends...oh, well.
If it's in your name only, the more important question is, why does he have the car? Go and take it, you're the rightful owner and legally liable for every payment that does or doesn't get made, as well as any accident he might have in it.
