Can an American lawyer or judge even help someone out in jail in another country?

Even if they are not American? what if they lived here before and have family that live here that are American? I need serious answers here thanks :) xoxo

Answers:
The short answer is no. The long answer is, it depends on the country, the jail and the lawyer or judge. There are lawyers and judges who have international reputations who might be of help, but technically even they need to use a local attorney to work with. And money or a good cause.

glad you asked this one, as a britain who is in serious trouble for trying to become a non european free britain it one day will all end in court, but dont think i could trust brit lawyer to fight to win.
