Are there any places on earth that no country or nation claims for its own?
if there are places on earth that no country owns how would a country claim such a area for its own and could a individual claim such teritories as his or her own and how would it be done
Answers:
Sure there are. There are still lots of islands and territories on earth without inhabitants, names, potable water, life-giving resources like plants or arable lands, or are just plainly not suited for habitation because of inclement climate. In fact, many of these lands have not been mapped as yet.
Do you think nations will just grab these lands or territories under such horrid conditions? Probably not. These nations -powerful or wealthy as they are - have too many problems at the homefront to deal with to waste their time and resources on unusable territories. Added-value work - that's the name of the game, my friend.
Now, on to solving many of our more pressing national problems: aids epidemic, poverty, hunger, war-ravaged
neighboring nations, famine ... ad infinitum, ad infiniturm,
ad infinitum!
Yes. Antarctica.
yes,..the middle of the deep blue sea,..out side the areas of the territorial limits of the countries,..how would you claim it?,..you could tell the U.N. (United Nations), that you are claiming it,..good luck enforcing your boarders,..
Lots of islands in the Pacific are not associated with any country. Of course, they also have no resources or fresh water--but if you're looking for your own kingdom, go for it!
