I was struck by the vehicle the police where chacing can i do something about it?
the police was chasing a car down a small side street in detroit about 3:am . it hit my truck at about 100mph. it took the police several minutes to come to rescue me after i done got out of my truck a witness said i passed out and the suspect got away

Talk to a lawyer FIRST! If it was not done go file a police report... even if they did go down and file your own seperate one.
A lawyer will make short work of this and you will get what you need. You need this statement from you as that way if you have a claim (assuming that you would) the insurance company will kick in their lawyers. Plus they can't up your rates.
Look up on the net about chases. There is a reason that cities have put limits on chases. Is it worth endangering citizens or ultimately is it worth the money if someone like you sued for sizeable damages?

first you need to call your insurance company they will get the ball rolling for your truck. If you want compensation for injury you will need a lawyer.
Did they catch the person they were chasing?
If they did a copy of the arrest report along with a copy of the report that was filed when they came to assist you should be all you need for you to file a cliam with your insurance company.
I hope you were insured. There's nothing you can do against the police department. You might have some recourse against the owner of the vehicle that hit you. If they have insurance and the vehicle wasn't stolen from them.
get he police report.tur it over to a lawyer who only collects if he or she wins the case and file a law suit if the lawyer agrees
