Clara Harris & Andrea Yates?
Clara Harris is a Houston woman who ran over her husband 3 times: I think, in a hotel parking lot after she discovered he was cheating on her. I do NOT condone murder but I don't think she should get the death penalty which I only condone in extreme cases : Like Osama Bin Laden. It wouldn't bring back her slimeball cheating husband anymore than executing Andrea Yates ( the 1 who drowned all 5 of her children) would bring back her poor 5 children. The situations are a tad different. But neither one of them were in their right mind & that should be taken into account. In short I think Clara should go to a mental health facility like Yates did & not be locked up with the GP. Unlike Yates: she's a victim in a sense. IF you're going to insult me & call me names DO NOT answer! Thank you~

I understand what you're saying. I think it too bad that these women didn't get help before they committed their crimes. The services exist but even when people are treated, they can still hurt others or themselves. I agree they should go to a facility where they can be treated. I also think that Ms. Yeats should be sterilized so that she cant have any more children. even if that is involuntary.

Andrea Yates should be thrown in the regular jail population with a sign around her neck stating her crime.
Both these murderers are from Texas where there have been many Blacks, Mexicans, the poor and the mentally ill who've gotten the death penalty with no mercy. These two
b!tches deserve the same.
P.S. Clara's stepdaughter has turned against her. And she never should have taken her stepdaughter with her to confront her husband she didn't care about this young girl's mental state.
There used to be something called "crimes of passion". What Harris' husband did to her was horrible. He walked off with the other woman that he had just promised to stop seeing and left his daughter crying in the lobby and his wife went after him. She said she intended to run into the cadillac escalade her husband had bought his receptionist and smash the hell out of it. Her lawyers had a video showing how she didn't know she was running over him, just the curb, but the judge wouldn't let them introduce it into evidence. I think she was clearly momentarily insane. Without a doubt, Yates is a total nut case. Our legal system is uneven. The man who shot the mayor of SF and a city supervisor only got 5 yrs. in prison while others are given the death penalty. Depends too much on your lawyers and the state you live in.
