How long do it take an insurance company to respond?

Also how long do it take for a insurance co. to respond to your lawyers after receiving the lawsuit papers? Is it true if you have a hard case and their client is at fault for your injury(premises liability) they will settle with your lawyer to avoid court? Also is it true that they settle big claims faster than small ones?

Answers:
Most states have a time limit for response to a lawsuit, usually between twenty and thirty days.

Yes, they often will settle cases they believe they will lose anyway.

The size of the claim has nothing to do with how quickly they will settle it.
