Is a spy just a criminal on a gov't. paycheck?
This was an interesting quote I recently heard and was curious to know who thought that was true.
Answers:
To classify them as a criminal is to miss the point.
Spying goes back to the beginning...it is part of our culture and the cultures of animal life.
It is part of the self conscious human being as well as the animal and insect world.
I can remember not too long ago watching this flying insect retreat in this small hole possibly to lay eggs. Close by another flying insect was hiding until the one came out of the hole and flew away and the insect that was hiding or spying went down the hole and came up with an egg and flew away .
It is necessary in social, business, politics, and war, etc.
Another way to look at them is that they are one of the view in government who have the ability to generate income to the bottom line or give us the advantage. knowing what the opposition is doing is always a good thing.
Are the actions violating a law?
If not, then no.
