What does "return of original notice mean?

There was a petition filed against me to uphold a arbitration award. The court website shows a "return of original notice". What does that mean?

Answers:
I think it means it was sent but not recieved.

The "original notice" was sent by one of the parties to the other.

The "return" is confirmation it was received.
