Smoking drugs all day and night?
There are many places in Portobello road where everybody knows what to buy, all kind of drugs, but specially this place under the fly over called INN ON THE GREEN, people seat down from 2 pm to 12 am everyday in the balcony smoking weed and hachis and even crack.
The smell is so espectacular that when you enter or go out from the gym besides still the smell coming from the balcony in the 1st floor dope you...IS ESPECTACULAR...
How police let this to happens, it doesn't matter how many complaints, it doesn't matter how much time you spend...
People trade in the Park in front and smoke in this venue, OLIMPICALLY... What else we can do with this situation?
People entering this place is all around the area and are plus dangerous full of lack of respect cause they know police do nothing and support us never...

Surely - the police could be called- and the place investigated - or ultimately shut down?

Many people smoking weed there are Rastafarians. It is their religious sacrament.
Also, people like informants/grasses much less than they like weed smokers.
The police are pretty obvious, so when they come people hide their weed and leave.
Police are no longer able to imprison weed smokers with any ease. So they go and tackle real crime.
A bigger question is, why is such a relatively harmless thing still illegal?
And why can't people mind their own business?
Finally, if you dont like living in a counter cultural area (not that W11 is any more) then move to Surrey. Ill see you on the the street with a big reefer. Cant wait for Carnival to come along.

Marijuana is not an addictive drug. You are talking about homeless people and drug addicts. Locking them up is not the answer. Why doesnt society help them to help themselves? You tell me. Lumping pot smokers in to this group isnt helping issues.

Look, the people shaking aren't just pot smokers.
they are doing others thongs too.
make alcohol illegal and you will see a lot more shaking and theft.
