Can the government arrest you as a terrorist for asking Questions?

Answers:
According to the Patriot Act, the government can arrest you at any time, and they don't even need a reason. They don't even have to charge you with a crime, and they can hold you indefinitely. Pretty scary, almost like another security agency made famous during WWII, all that is missing is the to diagonally slanted S's and the concentration camps. What exactly is going on at Gitmo anyway?

no,u have power to ask
The government can arrest you at any time for being an "assumed" terrorist.
That does rather depend on the type of questions, doesn't it.

In almost every case, the answer is an emphatic no.

However, if the question is "how much money it would take to buy some nuclear missile plans", then that is certainly different.
thanks to Bush the can now. so don't ask.

Not only that but you can be held indefinitely WITHOUT representation under Bush's NWO agenda AKA the "patriot act"

so don't say anything any more. it's safer.
Of course not - unless the questions are a threat. In which case you could be arrested for something more like assault. "Fighting words" - that is words that a reasonable person would perceive as threatening to do bodily injury - do not enjoy First Amendment protection. Please be more specific as to the nature of these questions.

This question seems to be a setup for making a rhetorical point. I'm kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop. :-)

--- There is some *very* misinformed legal advice on this forum. I would urge you to take what people say here with a grain of salt.
If you ask some questions in some places it could be seen as suspicious behavior that could get some agents asking you some uncomfortable questions. But in and of itself asking questions is not criminal. Airport security is not well known for having a sense of humor about Terrorism inquiries. There are times when asking questions can get you arrested as a spy. And Some questions can draw attention to other arrestable offenses. Try not to scare the guy with the gun.
