Whats the difference between in guardian ship and parental rights?

to make a super long story as short as it can be,

my mom had a really good job and everything was going good, but the babysitter could no longer watch my little sister, so my mom put in her 2 week notice and was gonna start searching for another job this summer ...WELL she got hit by a drunk driver and was unable to work

she is now able to work she (now thats shes healed) and it is now time for my lil sis to go back to school..

the only job that has called her back is a job that stars at 7 o clock am and she needs someone to take her to school

is there anything that can be done to where my mom can enroll my sister in the school that my daughter attends? without her having her to sign any parental rights paper?

that school told her she'll have to give me guardian ship...we get food stamps and i know that having her here will add to our stamps, but it will also NOT ALLOW my mom to claim her on the incometax

Answers:
Being a guardian is kinda like being in charge of somebody and it is usually temporary. Parental is just that - they have all the rights of a parent.

Somebody will have to sign papers for her to be in school though - it can be a guardian.

Putting somebody in a different school won't affect their income - you can write up a letter saying "I give such and such temporary guardianship of so and so until blah blah" and have it notarized and it'll be a legal document. It' works, my mom had to do that with me when she got called away for her job but it was only temporary - you need to find out how to go about long term things
