Do i now have custody where i live?

I recently filed for custody in florida. I have sole custody of my daughter in wisconsin. I recently transfered jurisdiction to florida.
does that mean if HE wants to change the custody, he'll have to do it in florida now. instead of wisconsin?

Whatever that means! Has there been a court proceeding in which a Florida Court exercised jurisdiction over custody (not just money)? If so, the Fla. courts would retain jurisdiction. If not, then it depends upon various factors which are not related in your post.

Yep, the paperwork must be filed in the state of residence of the child.

So unless he wants to hire a long distance attorney, and travel all the way to FL to do it.
There are issues when crossing borders. How they are resolved is up to you, your ex, and/or the judge.
