If a non contract group breaks up should the money put in the group be split among the group.Its there money.

It is a dance group and we paid dues every month. So we fired the director of the group and started a new group new name. The old director is demanding all the money.

It depends upon the reason for the dues, and what, if any agreement there was as to what would happen to the dues.
