Can I verbally give someone permission to sign my name FOR CONVENIENCE ONLY??

No intent to defraud or make any financial gain. Just to ask my secretary to sign my name on a form when I am out of town.

Answers:
You can have a stamp made of your actual signature that your secretary can use.

You can sign on behalf of someone if you make it clear you are doing this in the signature. It is usual to do this for routine letters. However have you considered simply making your signature an image which can be inserted into any letter written by your staff?
