Turning 21. License renewal?

I turn 21 today and wanted to know if it is required for me to renew my license in order to be able to go out and drink. I live in Georgia and have heard little things here and there about needing it renewed, but I dont really know what to believe. Also, I know that when you get your license at 16 there is a restriction as far as what time you can stay out, and if you dont renew your license they can still give you a ticket even if you are over 18 just because of what class your license is. It there anything like that having to do with when you turn 21? I just renewed it like 6 months ago so I really dont want to do it again if I dont have to.
