How can i find out if there are registered sex offenders living in my area?
I have a 5yr old daughter, and one more on the way.. i just want to be aware of who lives around us and GOD FORBID anything should happen in my town, but, I guess i just need to know who's who and who could be watching. Better safe than sorry right? I wanna protect my children.

Just check into your local government services building, if you don't have one the cop station should suffice.
Check with your local police. Some comunitys now have web sites.
Go to google and type in your State and Sex Offenders...
Each state has a list...follow the directions on the site from there.
Thank God my daughter's sex offender is listed on the site with his ugly, disgusting face...
Congrads! There really should be more protective parents like yourself. Yes, sex offenders are required to be registered . You could log on to www. sex offenders.com or type in your address and sex offenders for your area should automatically come up.
