As long as they do not force their ideas on me, or others, and do not deprive anyone else their rights to not inhale it, then I say let them do as they want.
Only if they are in the privacy of their own homes, and others who do not have a choice are not affected.
I agree with it if it is regulated like cigarettes are.

The amount of money spent to fight it is ridiculous, it is much less harmful to society than alcohol or cigarttes.
Legalize it, regulate it, and TAX it.
Hell the only reason it was illegal in the first place was due to racism against Mexican migrant workers.
Pro, but with conditions. I'm not advocating it be OK to go around high all the time doing whatever. It has to be controlled like alcohol is and used responsibly.
I'm no expert, but I think marijuana should be legalized and regulated like cigarettes and alcohol. I still probably wouldn't use it though.
Don't believe the "tax it and regulate it crowd." They tried that in Nevada and we ran them out of the state.

i dissagree, smoking is bad for you. Not only does it runin ur lungs, but it kills brain cells. Not only does it smell bad, but it stain ur teeth, u have the smell on ur cloths, and ur breath smells really badly.
I know some ppl that have died from it, and its not a pretty site. I think that we need to get rid of it. I hate it, it kills so many ppl a year. so ar this year over 8 million or so ppl have died from smokeing

i think it should be legal to grow and consume for personal use.
possession should be decriminalized first. some kid caught with a small amount of pot is treated like a hard criminal in the justice system. common sense tells me that is not right.
half the country is on prescription drugs that are more addictive, harmful, and expensive than marijuana. when smoking a little pot can alleviate some of the stress that these prescriptions are supposed to do.
people should be allowed to do it, but they should expect to be tested at their places of employment...I for one do not want to trust my life and career to someone who gets high and comes to work in a daze...If you have no responsibilities, sure why not
The latest study shows it is more harmful to the lungs than tobacco. One pretty good reason to keep it illegal. But then I think tobacco should be illegal too since it is so unhealthy. Or at the least, regulate nicotine as a drug.
I also agree with several who say too much tax $$$ is spent on enforcing marijuana laws. Maybe if it ever does become legalized, put a high (pun intended) tax on it. At one time there was a $100/oz tax. It would be a much simpler enforcement. The cost would make it out of reach for most people. Or if caught, you get arrested for tax evasion.
Anti, unless it is used for medicinal purposes as a last resort. It is bad for you like cigarettes are, it makes you act different and it makes you do stupid things. Smells disgusting, just bad because of what it does to people and what it makes them do from their distorted reality.
