Why don't people start petitions to legalize weed?

Washington DC already has toilet paper.

Because it's for losers with a desire to kill off their brain cells.
I think there have been many petitions to legalize weed, but the attempts have always been unsuccessful. There are not that many people that either want to admit they want to legalize weed or they don't smoke weed at all.

My personal opinion: the government should not have the right to tell us not to be able to have and smoke weed, just keep it away from me. If someone drives or infringes other's peoples right if it is legalized, they should be penalized. Just as a drunk driver would, since there are side effects for people who smoke weed.

Good luck if you decide to start something. I believe it is your right to smoke weed, and not the place of the government to infringe on that right.

I am a conservative Republican that sees the problem with today's government overextending in hands into our money and lives.
