Would lawyers have a place in our society if evreyone treated his neighbor as himself?
i probsbly will not get many responces because i ask difficult questions.

Somebody has to do the divorces and wills...
Yes. There would still be disputes. If we all baked our own bread would we still go to the bakery?
Of course we would. They may make better brownies.
If we all took care of ourselves and were fit would we still need doctors? Of course we would.
no and thats why they drag out all the cases and make a show out of the spectacular ones our justice system in the U S has become a mockery and waste of the hard working taxpayers dollars for the most part.anyone could have picked out several cases that was colluded before it ever went to trial and tell you the outcome before it went to court.it doesn't take a genius to see the scam & scum at work.
i hate myself. lol
good call
i always wondered if people stopped all crime
why would we need cops
they would have to make up stuff to keep the money flowing in
they do anyway but this way we would see it
yes.
for the following reasons:
1) there are masochists in the world. they want you to punish them. if they were to follow 'the golden rule', the entire world would be tortured and humiliated. the golden rule does not apply.
2) there are cases of miscommunication.

3) there are cases of people hurting each other without intending to.
consider the case hammontree v. jenner, where a man had a seizure while driving. he ran into a bike shop and caused personal injury.
4) there are inherent ambiguities in the constitution. regardless of how you feel about treating your neighbor, 'an establishment of religion' is still cause for debate.
so whilst you may think that there will be no criminal lawyers, even then, intent is not required.
Probably need a lot less, but your question, unfortunately, is pointless. People are who they are: altruistric, greedy, ascetic, carnal, gregarious, hateful, proud and ten thousand other traits. They will come into conflict, as a healthy amount of self-interest comes into mind. People remember things in a way that favors themselves.
You are asking a hypothetical question about changing the human condition, which doesn't seem very likely, or even possible. Thus, it is pointless.
i see an answer thats refers to wills and divorces, this is an example of a carnival fast talker ,hes using lanuage that refers to everyday things that you dont understand deliberity,so you have to have an interpertur to translate it,or it may imply one thing to make you believe that is not true, this lying, for instance Mike Nifon was ready to throw those young boys in jail for 30 yrs for something they did not do ,now look at him all he lost was his job in North Carolina,he can go to another state and change his name to Perry Mason and set up business. Why dont they throw his a-- in jail for 30 yrs and let the inmates get a piece of iteveryday like they would have done those young innocent boys? And their families were out over a million dollars trying to clear their names.they should have sued the school so bad it had to close its doors and the district attorney's office till it was unworthy for anyones trust.Sorry i want to be forgiving but this is very bad when you cant even trust your people who are suppose to protect you.
If everyone treated their neighbors as themselves, and acted intelligently, then we would still have attorneys, but I would not charge as much and there would be many fewer attorneys. 2/3 to 3/4 of all of my work is caused by people who act without thinking or who are too arrogant to think the law applies to them.
There would still be attorneys, but there would be far fewer of us. There would also be far fewer police officers, judges, doctors, nurses, firemen, EMT's, lifeguards, health inspectors, etc. A huge portion of our economy developed because peopel are stupid and/or arrogant.
