I want to make T-shirts with a logo or a phrase.Can i buy the copyrights?

well, first ask for thir permission and they might aloww you for free otherwise it might cost roung 50 - 100
a lot of money, but if the company thinks your tshirt using their stuff will increase sales then maybe cheaper as it maybe free advertisement, you must get in touch with the owners of the stuff and ask them.
You can buy the copyright but with articles and limits of course. You have to communicate with the legal adviser or something like that of the company e.t.c. from where you want the logo. Then they are gonna tell you if they want to give you the copyright and all the process that must be followed in positive answer. The cost of course depends on what logo you want... so if it is logo of for example Coca-Cola I guess that toy need lot money. However and the question about the cost depends on them, but you must be ready of them. You also must be careful of the contract that you are gonna sign (articles, limits etc). For your legal safety go to an attorney at law.
