The government is in denial hey even alcohol was prohibited at one time and they realized it just made more crime, if pot was legal there would be less drug dealers and less crime . people who do drugs are going to do them obviously even if they are illeagqal, so if they make them all legal but only in bars, that makes companies able to produce them for cheap and takes the buisness away from dealer who cant give as good prices, which basically stops drug dealing , which then stopse crime and murders that result from drug selling , but i guess people who are poor will still commit crimes to get money but who can blame em, then the government just has to patrol people driving while on narcotics. I MEAN LOOK AT AMSTERDAM THEY HAVE BASICALLY NO CRIME RATE.
PS- OLD FUZZ PEOPLE WHO SMOKE POT DRIVE SLOWER THAN YOUR MOM( AND SHE DRIVES SLOW)
Alcohol kills a lot of people; 10,000 on the roads a year; so those who want to get a little high wouldn't mind killing another 10k on the roads - my aren't they just model citizens.

This has been a question in my mind for 20 years! It makes no sense to make something that grows naturally illegal and something else that is man-made legal!?
