If a 17 year old and a 20 year old were in a relationship together, how far could they legally go sexually?

In California, does the age of consent only have to do with sexual intercourse or does it also include other sexual activities like oral sex, fondling, etc?

If you have a website with details, please leave the link in your answer, thanks! :]

Answers:
I believe you are fine after 16 if your parents don't press charges. SCRATCH THAT!

But molestation laws cover ANY SEXUAL CONTACT.

ADD) NO state has illegal oral sex laws that are enforceable. People make a big deal that they are still on the books, but every last SEX LAW regarding method/acts was overturned by the supreme court (Sodomy Laws)

YOU SHOULD READ THIS ARTICLE:

AND THIS ONE:http://www.metroactive.com/papers/metro/...

APPEARENTLY Californica is one of the STRICTEST STATES THE LAW READS:
An individual less than 18 years of age is unable to consent to sexual intercourse unless he or
she is married to the defendant.

So you can get married.
CA HAS NO ROMEO AND JULIET LAW!

If you have a baby out of wedlock, the Doctor is required by law to file the paperwork that would start the whole ordeal. It doesn't even matter if you turned 18 before the baby is born.
THAT'S MANDATED REPORTING, The doc could lose his job if he failed to comply!

ur sick...get back to reality ..appears like u wanna become a pornstar
so in some states oral sex is illegal thing,so are you 17?...so lol.))...do what you want
Welllll, i think that u hav 2 b 18 not sure but i think so.
post a video that clearly illustrates the activities so we can be better informed for a judgment call...
this is embaressing..but when i was 17,a cop caught me and my bf having oral sex in his car! he was 20 at the time..the cop said what we were doing was legal. lol..he advised us to get a room! but he said,if he would have found us having sex then he would have arrested my bf instantly, since sexually intercourse is illegal unless both ppl are 18+.
Age of consent can be enforced if you're in his car and your shoes are off.

/the cop has to be a real stickler, but you know...
legally..any sexual contact with a minor(below18years old) is illegal. and if u guys are cought, ur 20year old friend could be charged under 'rape'...
This is a question for a lawyer...

It all depends upon whether California has a "Romeo and Juliet" law that provides that an adult can be in a relationship with a minor provided they are separated by only a certain number of years.

The age of consent will keep him from being busted for statutory rape - there are other things he could get nailed for like "indecent liberties with a minor" or "contributing to the delinquency of a minor". Consent or parental approval is not an issue in all of this.

So, just to be safe, ask a real live California attorney. Making a mistake could be very costly. Are you comfortable trusting 20 years to the internet or a message board poster?

ADD) Regarding no state having an enforceable oral sex law - tell that to Genarlow Wilson in Ga who got 10 years for just that. He was 17 she was 15, it was consensual and he's still in prison. You can read all about him by running a Google on his name. Note here - he was 17 at the time...
if ur under age ur not supposed to do anythin with anyone 18 and over its considered statutory rape
