How can you become a real estate agent if you are a felony in north carolina state?

I am asking this question because of a friend
and she is trying to become an agent in Real Estate in North Carolina. Will she have to seal her records in order to do it.

Answers:
Each state has specific laws related to felons. I suggest your friend consult an attorney licensed by the American Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association to determine his/her legal status on becoming a licensed real estate agent.
