Do you think animal dating services should be legal?
I was considering starting a animal dating service over the internet...I would select the top breed animals from animal shelters, therefor it could be a win win situation.
Do you think the government would let me make such an enourmous profit off of this gig?

One small flaw - there are very rarely any pure bred dogs in animal shelters. Additionally, what are you going to do with the dogs from the shelter after you breed them? They will now be your responsibility.
I think that animal prostitutes would render your idea untenable.

If you do do this, then you must make sure that you have every bit of information you can get about the dogs -have they every bitten anyone, what they do in their house. About the government, they'd probably need you to give them an example of a profile of a dog to see if it's okay.

what? thats crazy!! the only thing that WOULD work is getting a database of pedigree animals that potential breeders can choose from in order to breed their own animal. and it could be monitored, similar to a dating service, but more of a database/meet and greet for breeders/
i dont think you should use animals in that way, i mean animals arent humans, they cant make decisions the same way as we can, and you're right, the animals could get hurt, how could you monitor if an animal you choose for a date is potentially dangerous or skittish?
and even though you're trying to be noble by choosing animals from shelters, what about all the other crossbreds? there are a far larger percentage of abandoned bitzers out there, because ppl can make money out of pedigrees.
i applaud you for thinking of the idea, but you really need to consider it more. how would you get the animals from the shelter? would you just give them back after the date?
i think there are better alternatives, like even matching potential animal owners WITH pets from a shelter, selecting from the owners likes/dislikes, capability etc.
