Do you think all lawyers are crooks and if so, why ?

Answers:
absolutely not. the only reason that stigma is attached to lawyers is because of how they defend their clients. They pull things out of their hats, and it may seem dirty, but they found loops holes in the law. its not the lawyers fault these loopholes exist, its the lawmakers.

No. President Bush has a lot of lawyers. Alberto Gonzales is a lawyer, he never lies and is certainly not crooked..
I don't think it, I KNOW IT! I worked for lawyers for 5 years. I couldn't sleep at night and finally found another job.
No. Some of them help a lot of people get money that they deserve (such as getting money from some drunk idiot that hits their car or something.) I guess that there would be plenty of dishonest ones out there due to how many there are, but the majority of them are just in their profession to practice law and make money off of it...
I don't think so. I'm a lawyer, and I'm honest.

Have been ever since I understood what W.C. Fields meant when he said "You can't cheat an honest man."
No.

I have worked with lawyers for the last 13 years. In my experience, most lawyers enjoy helping people, and that is why they got into the industry in the first place. There are some exceptions, most frequently in certain practice areas.

I think that any generalization like this is usually just someone who didn't get what they want and now they want to get even with them.
Yes. I completely blindly agree with all absolute statements.

Next question.
It seems, that lawyers have no fear of swimming in the coastal waters along Floridas Atlantic coast. They will swim, even while life guards are posting shark warnings.

One such individual was over heard to have said, 'they won't bother us, it's professional courtesy !"
they make a living off of crime which in itself should be a crime crooks helping crooks .would be better off with a few 100,000 less
That's hard to answer. On one hand, when you need a lawyer, you'd want him ruthless, using tactics that will win your case. On the other hand, No one wants to be battered in court by a ruthless lawyer. If you are innocent but the odds are against you...a crook for a lawyer would be nice. If your child was guilty of a crime, you'd want him to get off or at least as little punishment as possible. Does this make them crooks?
Desilu couldn't be more wrong. Pulling things out of a hat are ONE thing but when lawyers do not provide a rigourous defense because of money THAT IS wrong. Money talks and you-know-what walks.
