Is it legal to sell a sword to a person under 18?
I live in New Jersey, and I'm having a yard sale tommorrow. I'm planning on selling one of my old swords, but I'm concerned. If a person under 18 wants to buy it, I'm not sure if I can legally sell it to them.

I wouldn't just to be safe. I mean is some states if you are under 18 you can't even buy a lighter. CYA. know what I mean.

You should really think about it. Hypothetically. If you gave your friend a weapon, and they hurt, or killed somebody you are considered an accessory. In the eyes of the law.

i don't think it's legal because anyone under 18 is a minor and minors cannot buy weapons , cigarettes, beer or tobacco. If for some reason the authorities find out that someone sold a weapon to a minor, they would then trace it back to who sold it(you)to him/her and take legal action against you.
