Who can help a woman that was charged with 2nd degree murder in her husbands death? But it was self defense!?
He had beat her very bad, she had black eyes, bruises all over her body, had been thrown thru a window, choked almost out were his finger prints were left in a bruise on her neck. she had ran to a back room with a gun where he came in on her anyway and she shot him once and it lilled him, She lives in a small town that money talks and his family has it. The police had been called many times, as they were that night. Who can help her in a small crooked little town to get justice for her and her 2 children?

Well based on your case. You'll have to plea guilty but, in reguard of self defense. BASIC lawyer...to is very convincing could easily say that it was for defense but...also suggest that the money be put away for the children instead of her using it...However difficulty's in this could be that they would ask why she never went to the police or why she didn't get help. I will say that chances are she will go to prison.
I would be her lawyer but...I'm not in high school yet

Look outside her local community and/or your state Bar Associates and the BEST attorney for a criminal case like this is one who used to be a prosecutor but now in private practice. These type of attorney's are less apt to have an "agenda" as compared to the "other" type of attorney.
