No....it has more to do with the fact that the guy is a nut and a jerk.
Are you under some mistaken impression that there are not a**hole Christians, Jews, Atheists, Buddhists, Daoists...etc, etc.
I didn't realize he was the first person in the world in history to kill (or attempt to) in the name of his religion.
People that kill might believe it is the name of peace or religion but the reality is that people that murder are psychotic.
